National Four String Banjo Hall of Fame Museum
Discover America's only native instrument, the banjo, at the museum dedicated to preserving its heritage. Housing a rare collection of four-string banjos, some instruments are one-of-a-kind in the world. The museum is also the home of the International Banjo College and the Banjo Hall of Fame. Oklahoma Frontier Drugstore Museum
Site of Oklahoma Territory's first drug store you will find authentic restoration including numerous turn-of the-century items. Includes a 1923 soda fountain and displays of 1890 pharmaceutical memorabilia. The Gaffney Building, circa 1890, is a prime example of the historical charm and elegant architecture of Guthrie. Oklahoma Sports Museum
Oklahoma's official sports museum featuring a collection of memorabilia honoring athletes, coaches and teams with Oklahoma ties. Guided lectures and tours are available upon request. Oklahoma Territorial Museum and Carnegie Library
Artifacts and documents from the 1889 Land Run and settlement of Guthrie, the first capital of Oklahoma. Included is an exhibit on the William Black family, an African American family who made their claim near Guthrie and the other estimated 10,000 African Americans who participated in the 1889 land run.
