National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum

The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, showcases an impressive collection of fine art, Native American artifacts, firearms and historical cowboy gear. This Oklahoma City museum was founded in 1955 and has become America's "premier institution of Western history". The 8,000 square foot gallery houses a variety of seven galleries, sculptures, a replica of a western cattle town and even a children's interactive area filled with activities.

The Museum's three Halls of Fame pay tribute to the women and men who have helped to preserve the heritage of American West.
