Creek Council House Museum
This beautiful two-story museum provides exhibits on the culture and history of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. It is also the recipient of a National Preservation Award and is listed as an historic site. Once the headquarters for the black (African/Creek Indian) Light horsemen and in 1937, Rufus Buck, a black Indian leader of an outlaw gang that terrorized the Creek Nation in the late 1800s, was detained here after his arrest. Deep Fork National Wildlife Refuge
Established in 1993, the 9,000 acre refuge provides a habitat for waterfowl including mallard, blue-winged teal, shoveler, pintail and wood ducks. Approximately 85 percent of the refuge is bottomland hardwood forest. Wildlife observation, birding and photography are encouraged, while fishing and archery and muzzle loader deer hunts, and rabbit, squirrel and duck hunting is available. Dripping Springs Lake & State Park
This is the 1st Trophy Bass Lake for the State of Oklahoma. Restroom and shower facilities are available in addition to a boat ramp, boat dock, fishing dock, picnic areas, grills, group shelter and drinking water.
