Thomas P. Stafford Air & Space Museum
The Museum offers chronicles of the astronaut and Weatherford native, General Thomas P. Stafford. A few items from space travel (actual and replica) include space suits, several liquid rocket engines, and a NASA control panel. The museum also contains pieces from air travel including four Air Force planes (trainers and fighters), the Wright Flyer, Spirit of St. Louis, and many small-scale airplanes that take you through the history of flight.
