The Sooner State is alive with the sight of winter, so let Oklahoma be your next winter destination. Once fall turns to winter, it's time for basketball season. Make your way to Norman to visit the Lloyd Noble Center at the University of Oklahoma. Oklahoma also takes great pride in it's western heritage - Elk City is an excellent example of the majesty of the Great Plains, and is home to the Old Town Museum Complex. Venture into Lawton and enjoy the Comanche National Museum and Cultural Center - a sterling example of Oklahoma's southern hospitality. OKC gets in on the action, as it's home to the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, and many great festivals.
